We are seeking a Director of Integrated Academic Support Programs to join our leadership team at the Rutgers Learning Centers.

This is a very exciting time to join the Learning Centers' team. We are in the midst of tremendous growth and have been working on several new initiatives and collaborations for the past few years. One of these initiatives was the implementation of the Learning Assistant Program in 2011. This program has grown from employing 44 Learning Assistants in 2011 to 170 for AY16-17. The program has been a remarkable success and we are looking forward to this new phase. Please review and share the announcement below and official job description (link included below).

We are hoping for a start date of July 1st, but can be flexible.

Description: The Learning Centers (LCs) at Rutgers University are seeking a Director of Integrated Academic Support Programs. This position is responsible for directing our Learning Assistant Program (LAP) and coordinating in-class support across various disciplines. This is a leadership position within the LCs, expected to coordinate efforts with faculty, deans, and administrators as well as provide consultation for course development, partner with faculty and administrators to seek funding opportunities and develop new programs, and serve on university committees related to academic support and student success initiatives. This position functions with a high level of independence and reports to the Senior Director. This position also coordinates efforts with the LA Program Advisory Board and high level administrators of each Rutgers-New Brunswick school. The majority of LA Program courses are in STEM disciplines, so an advanced degree in STEM education is strongly preferred. Experience in educational research and assessment, as well as teaching experience, are strongly preferred. The LAP is a high impact program that has experienced tremendous growth over the past 4 years and is strongly supported across the university. We are seeking an applicant who has experience managing programs directly related to course activities and working closely with faculty, often in an advisory capacity.
