Share Resources, References and Classroom Materials

Help us to grow our collections of resources for teaching with visualizations.
  • Share Activities. Do you have an activity for the lab, classroom or field that features visualizations? Please fill out the online form so that we can share it with other educators.
  • Contribute Visualizations. Let us know about visualizations and their use in teaching geoscience.
If you would like to create a collection of visual resources on a topic that is of interest to you contact Cathy Manduca (cmanduca@carleton.edu)
  • Share references (print or web) including research about how students and experts learn from visualizations, and studies of the use of visualizations in teaching (particularly geoscience).
  • Tell us about web-sites of leading researchers exploring visual cognition and learning, learning from visualizations, and design and evaluation of teaching methods using visualizations with a short description of the site content.
To suggest a researcher for this list, contact John McDaris (jmcdaris@carleton.edu).
  • Contribute tools for a collection of information and on-line tools to assist creators of visualizations.
  • The contributions of resources is what makes these collections rich and diverse. You are encouraged to add your resources to these growing collections.
