Review Camp Webinar

If you have been accepted to the Review Camp, please plan to attend the instructional webinar on Wednesday, 25 September, 2013 from 12-1 PM Central Time (1-2PM Eastern, 11AM-12PM Mountain, 10-11AM Pacific). Below are the instructions for connecting to the webinar. We will be recording the webinar and posting a video version of it after the event. So if you cannot attend during the live event, you can come back to this page and get the content of the webinar on your own schedule.

Adobe Connect and the Conference Call Line

Start by connecting to the Adobe Connect session - (opens in a new window). You'll be asked to give your name (for the participant list) and then you'll be in.

Once you have entered the session, you will be presented with options for connecting to the audio stream. The preferred choice is the first one "Dial-out [Receive a call from the meeting]". Please enter the phone number where you wish to receive the phone call. The system will then call you and connect you to the audio stream. Note: This option cannot be used if you are planning to connect to the conference using Skype or a similar VOIP service. If you need to use one of these, then you will need to select the second option "Dial-in to the Audio Conference via Phone". Selecting this choice will present you with the phone number to call from your VOIP program.

IMPORTANT: In order to minimize background noise and allow everyone to hear the presenters, we ask that everyone mute their phone line using *# when you enter the call. If you are called on to talk during the session, you may press *# again to unmute yourself and speak to the room.

Once you have entered the Adobe Connect session, you will see a chat window on the lower right where you can send messages to the group (e.g., to ask questions of the presenter), a participant list on the upper right, and a main window where the presentation will appear. In some cases, an additional window may appear allowing you to view items running on the presenter's computer.

It would be a good idea to test your connection prior to the meeting by using Adobe's Connection Test. If you pass the fist three steps of the test, you are ready to participate (step 4 is only required for presenters that need to share their screen).
