What to Bring

In order to make the most of our time together, we will participate in an afternoon peer review session of an activity or overall class philosophy revision process. To get the most out of this activity, you will want to bring a copy of your activity with you. Revisions will be made on computers, if you have a laptop, you will want to bring one with you. You will have limited wireless access. If you do not have a laptop, please notify Kaatje (vanderhoeven@mesacc.edu) so we can be sure to provide laptops or access to a computer during the workshop.

Food/Accommodations

Coffee & Tea will be provided throughout the day, and lunch (deli style with cookies, fruit and iced tea and lemonade) will be provided due to funding provided by NSF DRL Grant #0546856

If you plan to spend Friday night, there are several hotels in the surrounding area including: Best Western Dobson Ranch (0.5 miles from campus) and the Hilton Phoenix/Mesa (0.9 miles from campus).

Since this meeting is in September, it's still quite hot in the Valley. The average high is 98 degrees, and the average low is 68 degrees, but buildings tend to be overly air-conditioned, so be prepared for layers.
